Established in 1930, Maison Egly-Ouriet is a fourth generation, family-run champagne producer currently overseen by Francis Egly. The estate covers approximately 9 hectares of vineyards which are mostly Grand Cru plots in Ambonnay, Bouzy and Verzenay. This is their 2020 Coteaux de Champenois, a still red wine made with 100% Pinot Noir from a parcel of old vines in the heart of Ambonnay. Aged for 22 months and bottled without filtration, the wine is velvety and mouth-coating, with refined tannins, racy acidity and a floral finish.
