Edradour 25 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 2 is a limited-edition, age-statement Highland single malt whisky produced at the Edradour Distillery in Perthshire. Located in Pitlochry, Perthshire, Edradour is the smallest traditional farm distillery still in production in Scotland today. The methods of production remain virtually unchanged in the last 150 years and are only just capable of commercial quantities. Indeed Edradour Distillery makes as much whisky in a year as most distilleries produce in a week. Distilled in 1999, this limited-edition release was matured in a single ex-Sherry cask for 25 years. A rich, smooth dram led by notes of caramel, orange peel and stewed fruits.
