Domaine de la Romanée-Conti – or simply ‘DRC’ – is undoubtedly one of the most prestigious wine producers in the world. Unlike other great Burgundy estates, Romanée-Conti’s strategy has always been to focus on a small number of grand cru vineyards, such as Echézeaux, where DRC owns a 4.67-hectare plot. This release is from the 2007 vintage and available here in a stunning magnum bottle. The 2007 vintage offers aromas of spiced red fruit, candied orange and a hint of sandalwood. The palate boasts a silky, scented texture, elegant tannic structure and fresh aftertaste.
