Since 2000, Eben Sadie has been producing cutting-edge and characterful wines that have revolutionised the South African landscape and inspired a whole generation of winemakers. The 2019 `Palladius` is a unique multi-varietal white blend composed of Chenin Blanc, Grenache Blanc, Clairette Blanche, Viognier, Verdelho, Roussanne, Marsanne, Semillon Gris, Semillon Blanc, Palomino and Colombard. Fermented and aged (for 12 months) in clay amphorae and concrete eggs, with an additional 12 months spent aging in large old foudres. A beautifully fresh South African white wine, with bright green-edge apple, stone fruit and tropical aromatics together with refreshing acidity and superb balance.
