Eaton Wines is a boutique wine producer founded in 2014 by the husband-and-wife team Mike and Jo Eaton. The essence of Eaton Wines lies in its ability to carefully hand-select small quantities of grapes from exceptional vineyard sites in both Marlborough and Nelson. Mike, along with his two sons Blake and Harrison, personally tend to these vineyards. Each production batch remains small, with a maximum of 1,200 bottles crafted for each wine. The Cuvée Forte 2019 showcases a distinctive aromatic profile, featuring notes of lemon, wildflowers, apple, river stone, citrus pith, white-fleshed stone fruits, lees, and subtle fruit spices. On the palate, it offers a pleasantly intense experience with a perfect balance between texture and flavour.
