Situated in Anderson Valley, Goldeneye is a well-regarded winery recognized for its exceptional Pinot Noir crafted from their own vineyards. Established in 1996 by Dan and Margaret Duckhorn, known for Duckhorn Vineyards in Napa Valley, Goldeneye`s inaugural harvest took place in 1997, yielding a modest 375 cases of wine. Since then, it has grown to become one of the most extensive Pinot Noir producers in the region. The 2002 vintage in California was notably outstanding, delivering superb red wines brimming with black fruit flavours and extended ageing potential.
