Donelan is a small, family-owned winery situated in Sonoma County. They are known for producing high-quality, single-vineyard wines from some of the best sites in the region. This release is made from the Chardonnay clone 5, which is a particularly vigorous and productive clone. The 2019 vintage is a medium-bodied wine with a golden yellow colour. The nose is complex and expressive, with notes of citrus, apple, pear, honeysuckle, and vanilla. The palate strikes a beautiful balance of fruit, acidity, and oak. The finish is long and lingering.
