A beautifully aged Armagnac from the leading producer Domaine de Joy which was distilled in 1949 and matured in oak barrels for decades until being bottled. The nose is both fruity and spicy, suggesting aromas of orange candy, anise oil, cloves and cinnamon. On the palate, notes of honey roasted nuts, dates, dark chocolate and prunes. The Armagnac finishes on a slightly minty note.
