Dom Pérignon is named after the legendary Benedictine monk, Father Pierre Pérignon, who in 1668 arrived at the Abbey of Hautvillers, north of Épernay and began experiments that would eventually lead to the creation and bottling of sparkling wine as we know it today. Tempered by a slow, masterful transformation during nearly 12 years in the cellar, Dom Pérignon Rosé 2008 displays ripe red berries and floral character on the nose carrying through to a full bodied palate and accompanied by a refreshing seam of acidity.
