This wine is made from a traditional indigenous variety grown in the estate-owned vineyards near the winery’s historic headquarters. The vines, over 50 years old, undergo a classic vinification process, which includes up to 100 days of submerged cap maceration.
The wine is then aged for a year in both wooden and concrete vats. While highly enjoyable when young, it also has excellent ageing potential, thanks to its origins in the limestone-rich, historic vineyards.
