Dixeebe is the latest mezcal brand crated by the father-and-son team Valentín and Asís Cortés, who are based in the Santiago Matatlán region of Oaxaca. Pulquero was one of four Dixeebe expressions released as part of their launch in March 2022. The maguey used in this mezcal is cooked in an underground pit oven, milled by tahona, and double distilled in a copper still. Expect notes of Granny Smith apple, brown sugar, ash and charcoal.
