Since 1842, the Niepoort family has crafted Port wine in Portugal`s Douro Valley, while Dictador Colombian rum traces its history back to 1913. The collaboration between these two storied entities resulted in an exceptional spirit. Dictador master blender Hernan Parra expertly blended vintages from 1971, 1974, 1978, and 1980, culminating in a unique expression. The finishing touch involves ageing the blend in casks previously holding Port, personally selected by fifth-generation master blender Dirk Niepoort.
