Caroni Guyana 23 Year Old Blend Tasting Gang Velier 1996

A 23 year old Rum from the long closed Caroni distillery on Trinidad. This particular release was blended by 23 Rum experts. The panel selected the rums to be blended and their proportions before it was bottled at cask strength 63.5% ABV. A full, dense and complex Caroni with notes of juicy tropical fruit on the nose. The palate is rounded and textured with hints of spicy oak and a grassy vegetal note before a long, evolving finish.
