Beginning its maturation in American oak ex-bourbon casks, this unique Highlander is finished in five different types of Californian red-wine cask. Zinfandel, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Pinot Noir. Honeyed marmalade and black forest fruits on the nose, cinder toffee and sundried raisins on the palate, polished off with a brown sugar finish.
