Dalmore 58 Year Old Selene 1951

HED60930 70cl 44%
Words pale into insignificance when describing this magnificent 58 year old. Named after the Titan goddess of the moon `Selene`, this is surely the Highland malt of the gods. Zesty citrus and bergamot florality on the nose, festive spices, dreamy chocolate cake and syrup-soaked apricots make for an unforgettable palate. A whisky that continues to enchant on an ever-evolving finish.

Dalmore

Founded in 1839 by Alexander Matheson, Dalmore is one of the Highland's most recognisable distilleries. Overlooking the Cromarty Firth, the distillery houses four pairs of stills and produces just over four millions litres of spirit a year. Almost as famous as the distillery itself is Richard Paterson, master blender for many decades, Richard has done much to popularise the Dalmore brand and Scottish whisky more broadly.

Dalmore 12, 15 and 18 year old are all firm favourites with whisky lovers, while their run of single vintage whiskies bottled as part of the "Constellation Collection" series have kept collectors happy. The Cigar Malt and King Alexander III are excellent non-age-statement additions to the core range while the limited annual release of Dalmore 21 year old usually sells as in a heart beat.
