The 2017 Maya is a blend of 67% Cabernet Sauvignon and 33% Cabernet Franc, displaying a deep purple-black colour. It opens with pronounced earthy aromas such as truffles, wet soil and crushed rocks, over a core of Black Forest cake, black raspberries, blueberry compote, with additional touches of wilted roses and cigars. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is firmly structured with fine-grained tannins and radiant freshness, lifting the multi-layered forest fruits with a long, scented finish.
