Château Croizet-Bages is a Fifth Growth estate situated within the Pauillac appellation. The estate has approximately 30 hectares of vineyard area, planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The 1966 vintage is still going strong after nearly 6 decades, showing notes of black cherries, violets, spices, slight tobacco and earthy undertones, all delivered with some good acidity.
