Domaine Baumard, situated in Rochefort-sur-Loire, southwest of Angers, is a prominent and highly regarded wine producer in the Loire Valley. The estate has gained recognition for crafting exceptional Chenin Blanc wines from appellations such as Savennières, Quarts de Chaume. And Coteaux du Layon, where this sweet wine comes from. The nose suggests aromas of dried citrus peel, apricot, honey, honeysuckle, ginger, mango, and lanolin. On the palate, the wine is sweet with high acidity, and a purity of fruit that shines through brightly. apricot and peach upfront, shifting to more tropical notes of orange and passion fruit through the middle. An outstanding, well-balanced wine, demonstrating intensity and complexity.
