Cote Rotie Cote Blonde Rostaing 2009

HED90645 75cl 13%
Domaine Réné Rostaing Côte-Rôtie Côte Blonde 2009 is a full-bodied red wine produced from the Syrah grape variety in the Côte-Rôtie appellation of the northern Rhône Valley. Planted with vines aged more than 80 years old, Côte Blonde is the most prized Syrah vineyard parcel of the Rostaing domaine. "The 2009 Côte Rôtie Côte Blonde isn’t far off the 2010 but has a more sunny, opulent style that’s very much in the vibe of the vintage. Lots of ripe black raspberry fruits, graphite, peppery spice, and earthy minerality give way to a full-bodied, opulent wine with chewy tannins and a blockbuster finish. It too has another two decades or more of prime drinking." Jeb Dunnuck, 2020
