Domaine Yves Cuilleron is a prestigious estate in the Northern Rhône, with a special focus on red wines from Syrah and white wines from Viognier. This domaine has been in the Cuilleron family for three generations. However, it is the current proprietor and winemaker, Yves Cuilleron, who has significantly expanded both the estate`s vineyard acreage and the scale of its operations. `Les Chaillets` is the local name for describing the terraces in Condrieu. The wine is made from a selection of parcels on the biotite granite terroir, where Viognier expresses itself with a lot of minerality and elegance.
- The 2022 Condrieu Les Chaillets exhales marked cedar and vanilla elements alongside ripe peach, quince and apricot. Showing a little more substance than the La Petite Côte from the same vintage, the well-made 2022 Les Chaillets touches the palate with ample flavor concentration and refreshing acidity.
