Clos L’Eglise 2001 is a full-bodied red wine, predominantly crafted from Merlot, hailing from the Pomerol appellation of Bordeaux. This vintage reflects the Château`s historical significance, as Clos L’Eglise is one of the oldest estates in the region, established in the 18th century. Since its acquisition by the Garcin-Cathiard family in 1997, Hélène Garcin and Patrice Levêque have been dedicated to its production. The wine offers complex aromas of red and black fruits, alongside earthy undertones, showcasing the vineyard`s unique terroir over time.
