Nestled 2 kilometres east of the town of Saint-Émilion, Château Clos de Sarpe spans 3.7 hectares within the Saint-Émilion appellation. Jean-Guy Beyney and his wife, Christine, have managed the family estate since 1986, enlisting the expertise of renowned consultant Michel Rolland in 1998. The 2008 Bordeaux vintage, in general, is regarded as excellent, and many wines from this year are drinking well now.
