Domaine Virgile Lignier-Michelot Clos de la Roche 2000 is a full-bodied Burgundy red wine from the Grand Cru of Clos de la Roche in the Morey-Saint-Denis commune of the Côte de Nuits. Located in Morey-Saint-Denis in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, Domaine Lignier-Michelot cultivates 10 hectares of vines which extend from Nuits-Saint-Georges to Fixin. Its portfolio covers a total of 20 Côte de Nuits appellations, including three grand crus. Clos Saint-Denis, Clos de la Roche and Charmes-Chambertin. The 2000 vintage in the Côte de Nuits was very good, producing a wealth of ripe, structured red wines, with excellent longevity apparent in wines from the best crus.
