From the Republic of Haiti comes this unique rum, made from a particular variety of indigenous, non-hybridized sugar cane called ‘Madame Meuze’. The distillation process takes place over open fire in a small pot still, and is overssen by Stephan Kalil Saoud, who has been both a sugar cane producer and distiller since 1989. Expect notes of cut grass, basil, sweet pepper and ginger.
