Domaine Henri Bonneau is one of the iconic producers of Châteauneuf-du-Pape with just 6 hectares of vineyards split between the legendary La Crau and Couthézon sub-zones. The 2013 vintage is a blend of 90% Grenache and around 10% Mourvedre with small portions of Syrah, Counoise and Vaccarese, with traditional vinification in concrete tanks and maturation in old barrels and foudres. This is a cool and elegant release, more medium-bodied in style, with lovely rich red fruits, bright peppery spice and abundant minerality.
