La Durbane Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc 2021 is a full-bodied white wine from the southern Rhône Valley of France. La Durbane is a young cellar in Caderousse, just a short drive north of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation. It was purchased by Jean-Louis Giornal in 1999 and is now run on organic principles by Jean-Louis` daughter, Florence, and her husband, Thomas - both doctors of chemistry who gave up their careers in Switzerland to make wine in this most iconic of wine regions. Fermented and aged in demi-muid oak barrels, this Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc is a rich yet bright and floral Roussanne with great complexity and impressive length.
