Chateau St Jean is a Sonoma County winery noted for its reserve and single-vineyard wines. A prime example of its reserve range is the long-lived `Johannisberg` late harvest Riesling, produced from hand-picked botrytised fruit in the Alexander Valley. Lush and balanced with honeyed citrus-led Riesling aromatics, this is a prime example of mature California sweet wine which would pair well with foie gras, blue cheese or fruit tarts.
