The 2021 marks the inaugural vintage of this monopole vineyard, acquired from the Duchesse de Magenta. The nose boasts an inviting fragrance reminiscent of frangipane and hazelnut, displaying a focused character that unfolds as it aerates. On the palate, a well-balanced profile emerges – while not overly intricate, it possesses a fresher quality compared to, for instance, the Puligny-Village. Towards the finish, there`s a subtle bite. Allowing this wine to rest in the bottle for around 12 months should enable it to develop into a refined Chassagne expression.
