Christophe Perrot-Minot’s superb Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru comes from a tiny 0.8-hectare plot of 50-year-old vines planted on very thin, stony soils and is renowned for its beautiful perfume and captivating mineral tension. The 1999 vintage in Burgundy produced wines of good quality with excellent ripeness and balance. The weather conditions throughout the growing season were favourable, leading to healthy grapes and good concentration.
