Charles Krug Winery is one of the oldest and most historic wineries in Napa Valley. Established in 1861 by Charles Krug, a Prussian immigrant, it has played a significant role in the development of the Napa Valley wine industry. The winery is now owned and operated by the Peter Mondavi family, who acquired the estate in 1943. Presented here is a rare bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon from the 1971 vintage. Historical records indicate that this vintage was predominantly exceptional in California, yielding opulent, cellar-worthy wines, especially among the red varietals.
