Bertheau’s 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru ‘Les Amoureuses’ is one of the domaine’s flagship wines, coming from the 0.32-hectare Les Amoureuses vineyard where 47-year-old vines are planted on mainly limestone-marl. The nose is distinctly intense and evokes the Chambolle-Musigny terroir, with aromas of rose petals, violets, spices, wild strawberries and blackberries. On the palate, we find the aromatic complexity of the nose, a velvety tannin structure, leading to a dense and long finish.
