Domaine Christian Moreau is often cited as one of the benchmark producers of Chablis and is a great source for remarkably consistent and traditionally styled wines. From the superb 2018 vintage, this is an excellent release of Grand Cru Vaudésir. Medium-bodied and satiny in attack it segues to an open-knit and generous mid-palate, with notes of green apple, pear, mint and seashells. With ample acidity and delicate minerality, it is a superbly harmonious release with immediate drinking pleasure but the capacity to age for at least 10-15 years.
