This wine is made from a specific parcel within 1er Cru Vaillons called “Les Minots” which has 70-year-old vines and a warm, southerly exposure. It is alluring and generous, unfurling in the glass with notes of pear, apple, citrus oils, white flowers and blanched almonds. Broad and textural on the palate, it has lovely precision and focus, gliding to a long, mineral-tinged finish.
