This is the cask proof version of Catoctin Creek’s ever-popular Roundstone Rye. Released at approximately 58% ABV - it varies slightly depending on the individual barrels - this is seriously strong whisky. Dark, complex and surprisingly smooth for the proof, it offers plenty of spice in the form of aniseed and pepper, and also notes of toasty oak, toffee and candied citrus.
