Hailing from Castellina in Chianti, `Siepi` is a blend of Sangiovese and Merlot and was first produced in the 1992 vintage. Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, expect notes of plum, dark berries, sandalwood and tobacco with a long and bright finish. Enjoy as a `vino da meditazione` or as an excellent match for rich game dishes.
