The 2012 Clos Apalta is a blend of 66% Carménère, 19% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, and all grapes are biodynamically grown. It is a bright and lively red wine, with complex aromas of cherries, raspberries, rose petals, blackberries, black pepper and sandalwood. On the palate, it is full-bodied, yet very refined, with notes of blackberries, cassis, chocolate and some herbal undertones. Drink now through 2024.
