Cardinale Cabernet Sauvignon 2000 is a mature, full-bodied red wine from the Napa Valley of California. Cardinale is one of the Jackson Family`s leading properties. This Cabernet Sauvignon includes a small proportion of Merlot, with fruit sourced from vineyard in the Howell Mountain and Veeder Peak AVAs. "Opens with nice aromas of currants, mint and smoky oak, and then turns plush in the mouth, with flavours of blackberries, olives and dried herbs. After that, the tannins kick in, and last through the finish with a puckery astringency." Wine Enthusiast, 2003
