Bruxo No 2 Pechuga is a pechuga-style Mezcal produced from 80% Barril 20% Espadin agave in Oaxaca, Mexico. `Pechuga` means `breast` and refers to the practice of distilling agave with a chicken or turkey breast hanging in the still to absorb the vapours emanating from within, supposedly adding to the spirit`s flavour. It indicates a style of Mezcal which is redistilled with additional flavourings. Bruxo No 2 Pechuga is produced by infusing agave with split and roasted agave hearts in place of the chicken or turkey breast. An earthy yet aromatic Mezcal with notes of roasted pear, almond and bergamot.
