Fattoria dei Barbi Brunello Riserva is produced from specially selected Sangiovese grapes from the estate`s best Montalcino vineyards. It was aged for five years before release - three of which were in cask. Founded in 1892, Fattoria dei Barbi was one of the first estates to produce Brunello. The estate is owned and run by the Colombini family, one of the noble families of Siena, with historical records dating back to the 10th century.
