Bordón Rioja Gran Reserva 1994 is a medium-bodied, blended red wine from the Rioja appellation of Spain. From Bodegas Franco-Espanolas, this is a superb-value mature Gran Reserva made from a blend of mainly Tempranillo with smaller proportions of Graciano and Mazuelo. The wine was matured for 24 months in medium-toast American oak barrels and a further three years in bottle before release. An exemplary tradititional, mature Rioja that would complement paprika-spiced lamb chops or hearty spiced stews.
