Blandy`s Bual 1976 underwent ageing in seasoned American oak casks, following the family tradition of initiating the maturation process in the warm high attic floors of the lodge located in the heart of Funchal. The nose reveals a highly complex bouquet, including aromas of toasted wood, dried fruit, sweet spices reminiscent of vanilla, saffron, chutney with ripe fruit, dried leaves, and tea. The palate reveals a medium sweetness and concludes with a prolonged finish.
