The iconic Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is the pinnacle of the Beringer wine range. It was introduced by former Beringer winemakers Ed Sbragia and Myron Nightingale in 1977 with the intention of producing the finest Cabernet in Napa. Though the Private Reserve is generally known as a blend of different vineyard sites, the 1980 vintage was the last to be produced solely from the Lemmon-Chabot vineyard.
