Donnafugata a name synonymous with Sicily are a respected family owned estate who produce wines from 35 districts on the Island, each one with unique characteristics. Ben Ryé made from vines planted on the island of Pantelleria between Sicily and Tunisia, is a modern take on the classic Zibibbo (Muscat) Passito. This wine features a distinctive profile with intense aromas of apricot and candied orange peel, complemented by hints of Mediterranean scrub. On the palate, notes of fruitcake mingle with aromatic herbs and honey. The wine is intense and persistent, with a perfect balance between freshness and sweetness.
