Louisiana-based Bayou Rum was launched in the summer of 2013 by brothers Tim and Trey Litel, along with long-time friend Skip Cortese. They pride themselves on using molasses that come from the oldest family-owned and operated sugar mill in the United States. This limited-edition, single barrel rum was matured in rye casks for at least 30 months to obtain a more spicy and complex flavour profile.
