Acquired in 1998 by the Lhéraud family, Baron Gaston Legrand is a traditional armagnac house located in the commune of Lannepax, in southwestern France. The producer holds some of the oldest armagnacs in France, with some vintages dating back to the 19th century. This release from the 1973 vintage is beautifully mature, brimming with notes of prunes, almonds, caramel and floral undertones.
