With roots tracing back to the 12th century, the Guasch family is the proud owner of the Baron de Sigognac brand. Situated in the Bas Armagnac region, their estate encompasses 60 hectares of vineyards, predominantly planted with Ugni Blanc and Baco varieties. This particular expression was distilled in 1921, the same year that insulin was first used to treat diabetes, marking a significant breakthrough in medical science.
