Giuseppe Mascarello e Figlio is surely considered one of Barolo’s all-time great producers. The Monprivato vineyard is one most famous in Castiglione Falletto and is only bottled in vintages deemed outstanding. The 2008 still very youthful with massive amounts of depth, power and structure. It has delicate dried rose and berry perfume but will require additional cellar aging.
