Barolo Granbussia Riserva Aldo Conterno 2005

In 1969, Aldo Conterno ventured away from his family to establish his own winery in Bussia, Monforte d’Alba. Today, Aldo`s three sons – Stefano, Franco, and Giacomo – oversee the winery, diligently crafting some of the region`s finest wines from their 25-hectare collection of prime vineyards. Granbussia is seen as the ultimate expression of the estate as it is produced by blending grapes from the oldest and most expressive parcels from the Romirasco, Cicala and Colonnello vineyards. Only produced in exceptional vintages, the wine remains in the cellar for at least 9 years before release.
