A full bodied, dense Barbera aged for 12 months in French oak before bottling. The nose offers notes of sweet forest fruit with dried garrigue herbs and a hint of dark chocolate. Fresh and juicy on the palate, the finish is smooth with a marked minerality. Luciano Sandrone`s Barbera vines are around 30 years old planted in clay / sandy soils while the vineyard sits at over 400m above sea level.
