AZ Granata Heritage Merlot 2018 is a full-bodied red wine produced in the Shamakhi region of Azerbaijan. Founded in 2011, AZ Granata is one of the largest drinks producers in the South Caucasus. From 2006, the company established vineyards at an altitude of 600-700m above sea level in the Adnali plateau of the Great Caucasus mountain range in Shamakhi. The barrel-matured 2018 Merlot offers concentrated flavours of black cherry, blackberry, currants, vanilla and oak spice. An excellent accompaniment to red meats, rich stews and mature cheeses.
